AIGA: Get Out the Vote campaign wields the power of design to motivate the American public to register and turn out to vote in the 2016 general election, as well as local elections to come. This poster design depicts a crying boy dressed in blue, surrounded by a contrasting orange vote pins. Young people of the “me generation” are accused of being selfish and entitled. To portray this, the cry baby represents todays millennials who cry for change, but don’t put in any effort to make that happen.
